The Travel bug bit Wade very early in life and his passion for travel began while enjoying family summer vacations. After graduating high school, Wade landed a dream job with Air Canada. His 23 year career as a Flight Attendant furthered his passion for travel while he explored the world. After changing direction, he joined Carnival Cruise lines for a temporary 1 year BDM position to cover a maternity leave. As luck would have it, just when that temporary position ended, another BDM role came available representing Princess and Cunard where Wade remained for nearly 15 years. Wade has now joined the Cunard North America Sales team as a BDM for Strategic and National Accounts.
Favorite Destination? Hands down New York City – always so much to see and do in this exciting city – can’t get enough of it. When not sailing on a Cunard Voyage, Wade’s favorite places include Hong Kong, London and the Amalfi coast in Italy.

Charles Sylvia, ECC is Vice President, Trade Relations, and Industry Special Envoy with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). Charles has been an active CLIA member since 1994, when he embarked on his career in cruise sales and marketing as a front-line travel agent at a brick-and-mortar agency in his hometown near Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In his role at CLIA, Charles advocates for the interests of CLIA’s North America Travel Trade Membership, comprised of more than 56,200 travel agency owners and advisors, and he serves as primary liaison for the CLIA Strategic Trade Advisory and Review Board (STARBoard) and the CLIA Trade Relations Committee.
