About
Managing compliance and keeping drivers safe is a growing challenge – one that spans risk profiles, regulatory demands, and operational pressures that vary across every vehicle and every role in your operation.

This session will explore how smarter use of connected data and AI-powered tools is helping fleets stay compliant, reduce risk, and build safer cultures from the ground up.

It will cover what ‘compliance’ really means across a modern fleet, how operators are moving from reactive incident management to proactive safety, and what the technology landscape looks like for those navigating it today. Whatever the number of vehicles you manage, you’ll leave with practical insight into what’s working, what’s changing, and how to make your fleet both safer and smarter.

Alison Moriarty
Executive Director - Risk and Operations, Beverley Bell
After working in H&S for many years Alison noted that there was a massive disparity between the way that on site and on road safety was addressed. Following this she focused on working with drivers and managers, to reduce fleet risk and thereby reduce collisions, injuries, costs and insurance premiums.

She has worked in construction, civil engineering, and utilities and has been presented with many industry awards for her success in road safety. This culminated in her being introduced into the Fleet News Hall of Fame in 2025. Alison now works in a consultancy role, helping clients to lower their fleet risk.

She has served as a magistrate since 2004 and sits on numerous industry advisory boards and committees.
