Matthew started his career in telematics after studying information technology at Bournemouth University. Following time with Siemens and tracker, he joined LeasePlan in 2005 and has led the consultancy team since 2012. He is an active member on a number of BVRLA panels and working groups and is host of the Ayvens ‘Fleet Navigator’ podcast.

Mike Roberts returned to Fleet News in 2021 having previously been its news editor in the early 2000s.
