About the Speakers

1634777559-6907358f9bd27b8e Mary Hirthler
Wealth Advisor
Mary joined Jacobi Capital Management in 2014 and has 9 years of experience in the finance industry. Growing up in a household with one of her parents in finance, Mary enjoyed math and thinking about how all of the numbers and pieces of a business work together.

Mary knew she wanted to be in a role where she could work directly with people and help them through problem solving for their future. This search led her to working at Jacobi Capital in the Berwyn office after leaving her career in NYC. Mary started as a Client Services Associate at Jacobi and has since transitioned her role to a Wealth Advisor who works with many different clients through their financial planning and investment management needs. She still works daily with the Jacobi team on trading and operational requests, portfolio construction and additional projects. Mary, along with four of her colleagues, was chosen to speak at the Barron’s Regional Summit in November 2019.

Previous to joining Jacobi Capital, Mary worked in NYC at Goldman Sachs in the Global Markets division and at Blackstone in their Alternative Asset Management Group. A graduate of Georgetown University, Mary has a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and Management and is currently pursuing her Masters in Finance from the Carey Business School at John’s Hopkins University. Mary has obtained her Series 7 and Series 66. In her free time, you can catch Mary on the Peloton or biking outside, listening to country music or trying new restaurants in Philadelphia where she resides.
