Marty is a founding member of Sanctuary and a nationally recognized wealth advisor. He is an industry thought leader and serves his community. With 39 years of experience on Wall Street, Marty has led clients to a sound and complete financial foundation for their future. Applying his skill and expertise, he assists in implementing and monitoring a comprehensive plan. He has been professionally trained through the Citi-Family Office program, with a focus on the continuum of wealth planning solutions. Marty is particularly skilled at tackling the difficult issues that confront affluent families, including legacy and philanthropic planning. Marty has also successfully completed the Investment Wealth Institute Endowment and Foundation Consulting curriculum.
Marty has written for WORTH magazine, has served as chairman of the University of Colorado Foundation audit and investment committee, was chairman of the Economic Club of Colorado, and was a co-chair of the St. Anne's Episcopal School endowment. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1980 (BA, Economics).

Lauren Onsrud serves as Chief of Staff at GM Advisory Group where she supports the strategic initiatives of the firm in areas of staff development, recruiting, administration, and human resources. She holds an MM in Music Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a trained opera singer.
After graduating from the University of Delaware with a BA in Mass Communication & PR, Lauren began her career as a media and advertising professional in the nonprofit sector in Washington, DC. After leaving DC, she returned to her home state of NJ to handle social media and digital marketing for an education organization.
At the beginning of 2020, Lauren joined the Barron's in Education team to aid in student engagement to enhance financial proficiency across the country.

Joe has been with Dow Jones for over 25 years leading teams and overseeing programs that provide Dow Jones News services to a variety of financial professionals, institutions, and academia. Over the past few years, Joe has been with the Barron’s in Education team working with deans and donors that wish to partner with Barron’s to help promote financial proficiency at colleges and universities across the country.
