This webinar presents the key findings of Austroads Project EAS6418, Projected Weighted Mean Annual Pavement Temperature and Maximum Pavement Surface Temperature for Australia and New Zealand. The project utilised the latest regional climate modelling techniques and future emissions scenarios to develop updated projections of Weighted Mean Annual Pavement Temperature (WMAPT) and Maximum Pavement Surface Temperature (Tmax) across Australasia. Participants will gain an understanding of the climate science methodology adopted, including the use of downscaled regional climate models and ensemble modelling approaches, as well as the projected temperature trends under different emissions scenarios. The session will highlight regional variations in projected pavement temperatures across Australia and New Zealand and discuss the potential implications

This webinar is presented by Jeffrey Lee, Bert Lukitsch and Rafid Morshedi.
