Transport agencies and infrastructure owners are facing increasing expectations to measure, manage and report greenhouse gas emissions across the lifecycle of their projects. To support a consistent approach across Australia and New Zealand, Austroads has developed the Carbon Measurement and Reporting Tool (CMRT), a new web-based platform for measuring, evaluating and reporting carbon emissions associated with transport infrastructure.

This webinar will introduce the CMRT and demonstrate how it supports carbon measurement across business case, design, construction and maintenance activities. Presenters will provide an overview of the tool’s key features, including project and portfolio reporting, emissions hotspots analysis, carbon reduction tracking, benchmarking and alignment with emerging national carbon measurement guidance.

Presented by Joanne Vanselow (Austroads) and James Wilkinson (Jacobs) , this session will showcase how the CMRT can support transport agencies, local government and industry partners in meeting evolving carbon reporting requirements and accelerating infrastructure decarbonisation.
