Aleesha Spencer is an experienced and passionate Early Years educator who believes in the power of learning through play and prepares her teaching environment to allow for freedom of movement and choice for her students.

Aleesha has been educating young learners for 8 years, spanning many countries including Ireland, The UAE, Malaysia and now Singapore. She believes in the importance of creating secure and respectful relationships with her children and their families to foster a sense of belonging, safety and security within her care, leading to a love of learning.

Aleesha has a certificate in self-regulation for Early Childhood Development, led by Dr Stuart Shanker and Dr Susan Hopkins. Aleesha’s approach to teaching and learning is about supporting and fostering young children’s emotional intelligence, scaffolding their ability to regulate their emotions and behaviour, cope with change and develop positive dispositions for school and home life.

Aleesha leads by example and provides professional and personal development opportunities for families and educators to assist in their understanding of children’s emotions and behaviours. Aleesha believes it is the caregivers in our children’s lives that can best support them through co-regulation and she lives and breathes this everyday.
