Dr. Regina Mertens
Global Coordinator Alpha & Beta Sites (Corrosion Protection)
Dr. Regina Mertens, Global Coordinator Alpha & Beta Sites (Corrosion Protection), holds a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Frankfurt. Back in 2011, Regina started as an Application Engineer at Atotech, focusing on corrosion-resistant coatings. Since 2016, she has been responsible for coordinating the alpha and beta sites in that field globally. 2018, she extended her responsibilities, coordinating the alpha and beta sites for zinc flake coatings. In the year 2020, she broadened her responsibilities to include the fastener sector of the construction business. She has been researching and analyzing the evolving needs for surface coatings for fasteners.
Pasquale Cozzolino
Tier 1 Manager Europe
In 1998, after completing his studies in chemical engineering, Pasquale Cozzolino, Tier 1 Manager Europe, began working in the surface treatment sector. After joining Atotech in 2001, he has held several positions and developed a broad technical background and market understanding, with a particular emphasis on the fastening sector. Following a lengthy career in product, business, and organization management, he has been working directly with fastener manufacturers, OEMs, and job platers as a Tier Manager Europe since 2018. He is now concentrating on the fastening industry's supply chain. Additionally, in the last 5 years, Pasquale has begun working on fasteners for the construction industry, since then, he has been researching and analyzing the shifting needs for surface coatings for fasteners.
