About
New and pending PFAS regulations are evolving in many states and are progressing at the federal level. Nearly every industry uses products containing the class of persistent contaminants known as PFAS, or per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances. As such, PFAS may be found in process equipment and wastewater. It can ultimately be transferred to soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and attach to dust or vapor particles in the air. Currently, there are only a few industries that are primary PFAS regulatory targets, but in the near future, other industries will be required to assess for PFAS and potentially even embark on costly remediation projects.

Join us Wednesday, May 20 at 2:00 EDT as our PFAS subject matter experts present “How PFAS Could Affect Your Operations: What Actions You Should Take.” In this webinar, our experts will address this growing concern of assessing PFAS, lay out the current science and regulatory implications, discuss potential cost implications, and explore a practical 4-step process for addressing PFAS. By being proactive, you can get ahead of the issue and understand how to manage and reduce your potential risks.

By attending this webinar, you can expect to gain:

- a basic understanding of PFAS science,
- a more detailed understanding of PFAS sources and their cost impacts on your business,
- a summary of the current regulatory climate,
- information on how to read a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to identify PFAS,
- information on how PFAS will affect your RY2020 Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Reporting
- strategies to limit your potential PFAS liabilities
