Global Prayer for Lions - follow up

About This Webinar

Since our further call, there have been some positive developments. The Parliamentary inquiry was held, and the outcome was completely unexpected. Giving stakeholders more time to be heard. South African National Parks were found to be in breach of parliamentary orders and the signed agreement around the Greater Kruger hunting laws was declared null and void.

We call on you for further prayers that all parties in support of our Global Living Heritage, the White Lions, be heard. That the governing authorities wake up and see that times are critical and our wild spaces need to be fully protected.

Please join us at this time to lend your prayers and visualisations for the Freedom and Protection of all lions.

Webinar hosting presenter
CEO and founder of the Global White Lion Trust
In 1991, after being rescued by a Tsonga medicine woman from a dangerous encounter with a pride of lions, Linda Tucker gave up a career in international marketing and fashion to become a conservationist. Since then she has dedicated her life to the urgent protection of the critically endangered White Lions, regarded as the King of Kings by African elders. Despite their rarity and cultural importance, the White Lions have no protected status and may be trophy hunted in the wild and in captivity.

Linda founded the Global White Lion Protection Trust, a leader in community-based conservation, after nearly 10 years of intensive research on both the cultural and conservation importance of the White Lions in this region.

Janine Opheim
Prayer by Khoisan Zulu High Medicine Man:

Avoice rises from the parched valleys of my ancient motherland, a lonely
voice above the hills of eternal Africa, an appeal to those who do not
care, to those who have no ears. A plea to those who choose to be nothing
in the face of monstrous evil: Leave the lions of Timbavati alone. Do not destroy the sacred lions of the Gods
of Africa.

No-one in their right mind would ever travel to India, and massacre the white
Brahmin cattle that roam the crowded streets of India’s cities. No-one in their
right mind would ever travel to Siam and there murder the rare White Elephants
that we find in that country. But people come to my motherland, people come to
South Africa, to brutally murder the White Lions of Timbavati in the name of
manliness and in the name of sport. The sacred icons of other races and nations
in this world are respected, revered and protected. But the icons of Africa are massacred
with cold impunity, sometimes with the connivance of some of Africa’s
own children.

I understand, much to my sorrow, that there is not a single White Lion left in
the wild. And I ask myself: Did we win our freedom for this? This quiet devastation
of our country’s most sacred animals? Did we, by joining the ranks of
the democratic countries of the world, also join those people who see it as their
task to denude this planet of all life?

I want to join Linda Tucker’s appeal.

I say: Please. Leave South Africa’s White Lions alone. Let them breed once more. Let
them walk tall in the wilderness which is their mother.

Beloveds. I participated in the replay and the global overlighting and energy arising through the power and presence of Linda, Wynter, Janine, all attendees, the white lions and all of nature was incredible. My heart felt shattered by the magnificence of this time together. I feel so blessed and honoured to have been part of this healing and this activism. May the Creator, Creatrex within and all around us, shine ever more strongly. God bless.

For some reason, my comment about the prayer was posted under Janine. I am Linda from Ottawa.

What a pity, I tried several times to access the webinar and it says I am in the conference room but there is no sound and all the options are blocked. I will sit in prayer on my own then and join you in thoughts. Love to everyone attending and the lions.

So sorry Daniela! The recording is already available so you're not too far behind us! Blessings to you!

The Timing of webinar (March 3rd. at 3 P.M.) seems to be an auspicious and powerful time for our gathering, isn't it? All those 3's.
