    Chairman | Louisiana Gaming Control Board
    Christopher Hebert was appointed Chairman of Louisiana Gaming Control Board on July 1st 2024 by Governor Jeff Landry. Prior to his appointment as Chairman, Chris served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Louisiana for over 19 years, and as the Director of the Gaming Division for the previous 8 years. Prior to being appointed Director, he served as Section Chief of the Litigation and Adjudications Sections of the Gaming Division.

    Under his leadership, the Attorney General’s Office assisted the Louisiana Gaming Control Board in creating the regulations which govern sports wagering in Louisiana. He has been an innovative leader who has spoken on numerous gaming topics around the world. He was instrumental in creating the Problem Gambling Resource Services (PGRS) program, which is led by the Louisiana Department of Justice, Gaming Division, in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health, Office of Behavioral Health, to bring awareness to the legal community about problem gambling and the free gambling treatment services available for all Louisiana residents. He is currently a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law, the International Association of Gaming Advisors and the National Council on Problem Gambling, where he led an initiative to increase regulator involvement on the issue of responsible gaming.

    Vice President - Community, Sustainability & Social Responsibility | Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation
    Catherine Meade is the Vice President - Community, Sustainability & Social Responsibility with the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation (OLG). She leads OLG’s award-winning Social Responsibility (Responsible Gambling) and Community Sponsorships teams as well as the recently created Sustainability & Social Impact team. Prior to joining OLG in 2015, she was Director - Pan Am Games Capital Projects & Legacy for the City of Toronto. She practiced Law and was an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion professional prior to that.

    Catherine holds a Bachelor of Physical Education degree from McMaster University; an M.A. degree from the University of Alberta; an LL.B. degree, cum laude, from the University of Ottawa; and an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s University in Halifax. In addition, she holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Responsibility & Sustainability from University of Toronto, St. Michael’s College and a Sustainability Leadership Certificate from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

    Catherine practiced primarily Labour & Employment Law (both privately and in-house) for seven years in Nova Scotia and in Ontario. Before commencing her Law degree, Catherine worked as an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion professional for eight years with organizations such as: the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, Acadia University and the Canadian Human Rights Commission.

    Catherine was recently named 2024 SBC North America Leader of the Year for inspiring and industry-defining leadership in the gaming industry. She was also named a 2022 WXN (Women’s Executive Network) Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award winner in the Community Impact category.

    Executive Director | Arkansas Council on Problem Gambling
    Vena M. Schexnayder, MSW, is an advocate and clinician with a community-driven mission. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Arkansas Problem Gambling Council. Her work in the prevention and addiction treatment community spans over fifteen years in the southern and eastern regions of the United States.

    Vena has a Master’s in social work from Louisiana State University and a Master's in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas Little Rock, certified in Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Counseling from Northern Virginia College, Board member of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), and a board member for the Arkansas Chapter of the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), Board member for the Arkansas Chapter of the National Association for Social Workers (NASW) and DraftKings is a responsible Gaming State Council Funding Steering Committee member.
