About
This FREE live webinar is the fourth in our series of seminars, "Talking on COTS for Space with Dan Friedlander".

Various myths related to EEE Components are circulating due to misunderstanding and misinterpretation. The presentation debunks 16 myths, hopefully helping the community avoid pitfalls. Some of the 16 myths are:

- Incorrect interpretation of the term "Space Qualified."
- Incorrect interpretation of "Radiation Hardened" and "Radiation Tolerant."
- The main drive to use COTS in space is Cost Savings.
- The more frequent obsolescence of COTS is a showstopper for their use in space applications.
- Electrical and Radiation Tests at the Component level are technically justifiable to be replaced by testing at the board/module/subsystem level.

We will talk about each of them.
