Our ‘ An introduction to digital safeguarding’’ package offers 3 elements which will support you to understand which safeguarding considerations you may need to embed when developing and delivering services online. They will provide practical support and guidance to make a plan specific to your organisation and introduce you to DigiSafe - a practical step-by-step guide to embed safeguarding practices within your organisation now, and for the future.

Self-learning Resource - An introduction
As charities are working rapidly to transition their services to provide support online in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, safeguarding is emerging as a key concern. This element will comprise of three short online self service webinars and additional resources. These aim to help you navigate the complex safeguarding landscape and confidently embed key principles within your digital solutions.

Principles of digital safeguarding
How to manage the risk in online spaces
How to develop digital safeguarding policies and procedures
Understanding how to manage secondary trauma
