About
Traditional referral arrangements between accountants and wealth managers have usually been simple introducer arrangements, which means that the practice has little involvement or insight into the quality of service being delivered. If things go wrong, this can mean that your relationships with clients could be negatively affected. As trusted advisors to your clients, it’s common to be asked about things like succession planning, inheritance tax and other matters that require financial advice.

Join us on Wednesday 29 October at 11 am, when AccountingWEB’s Jake Smith will host the session alongside Brett Kaye, founding partner at BRF, a UK accounting firm partner, and Matt Norwood-Young head of strategic business development at Credo Wealth Management, where we look into an alternative model, already highly successful in South Africa, that is being introduced to UK practices. We’ll uncover the factors that led the practices to choose this innovative partnership, what their approach to wealth management was before this collaboration and, crucially, the tangible impact the partnership has had on client satisfaction and overall business value. The discussion will also look ahead, exploring the future growth and evolution of this innovative alliance.

Key topics to be covered include:

Client Introduction Timing: When and how is the wealth management partnership introduced to clients? What are the key opportunities and red flags indicating a potential client introduction?

Seamless Integration: How is the initial introduction handled, and how does ongoing communication between the accounting firm and wealth management partner foster deeper client relationships?

Immediate Revenue vs. In-house Costs: Gain insights into how a well-structured wealth management partnership can deliver revenue from day one, offering a compelling alternative to the significant costs and complexities of building and maintaining an in-house wealth management service.

This webinar offers a unique opportunity for accounting firms to understand how strategic partnerships can enhance client experience and accelerate capital value growth.
