About
With the mandation of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (MTD IT) now fast approaching in April 2026, the time for high-level strategising is over—it's time for practice leaders to finalise their operational and client preparation plans.

In this on demand webinar, we’ll hear from Della Hudson, Accountants Coach and author of The Numbers Business, Ryan Alderson, Head of Cloud Advisory from DJH and Stuart Miller at Xero about the actions you can take to ensure everything goes smoothly for your firm and your clients.

Listen back to this timely AccountingWEB webinar as we provide a concise, actionable checklist for UK accountancy practice leaders. We move beyond the basics of MTD IT compliance and focus on the final critical steps required to ensure a smooth transition for your firm and your clients, as well as preparing to make the most of the opportunities that will come for well prepared firms.

Key takeaways include:

- Client Segmentation & Communication: Identifying 'at-risk' clients and executing targeted final communication strategies.
- Workflow & Technology Audit: Reviewing and stress-testing your MTD-compatible software and internal quarterly reporting processes.
- Pricing & Service Model Review: Ensuring your current fee structure accurately reflects the increased workload and advisory opportunities MTD presents.
- Staff Training & Readiness: Confirming all team members are proficient in the new reporting requirements and client education protocols.

Catch up on demand to ensure you don't leave your firm's readiness to chance and to make sure your practice is fully prepared to navigate the final pre-mandation period with confidence.
