Our MTD Accountability Club, in association with Sage, is a monthly series of practical webinars where we cover all the topics around preparing your clients and practice for the mandation of MTD for income tax from April 2026.

For our December session, we explore MTD myth-busting for your clients and your team. We discuss how to make sure that your clients are aware of what’s coming, and understand what the requirements will be for them from April 2026.

We also cover the importance of using the current self assessment season to talk to clients about getting ready for MTD and moving them towards quarterly reporting.

Finally, we go over the requirements for getting impacted clients registered ahead of the April 2026 deadline, paying particular attention to the best way to ensure that clients with joint agents, where a client is working with both a bookkeeper and an accountant, is set up correctly.
