Fenicia SpA, the company that owns the Camicissima brand, began its story in 1931 under the initiative of Giovanni Candido who, employed by a local fabric wholesaler, decided to start a small specialized studio manufacturing of men's tailored shirts with the CC trademark, an acronym for Confezioni Candido (Candido Tailoring).
Fabio Candido, the President of Fenicia s.p.a., will tell this story, explaining how his business expanded rapidly from the ‘40s to today.
At the end of the 90s, under the leadership of the founder's nephews, Fabio Candido and Sergio Candido, Fenicia diversified into retail, launching in 2004 the well-known brand Camicissima.
Today, the Camicissima brand is synonymous with Italian shirts and style, in 25 countries around the world, including China, the most important foreign market.
