This month Lisa Beville, Vice President, Underwriting Counsel & Director of Education, introduces title company employees to the organization of the Basic Manual of Title Insurance – including a discussion of the most recent changes to the Manual that went into effect November 1, 2024. The course will include a detailed review of each section of the Basic Manual, to make sure each person knows where to find the Rates and Rules that govern the issuance of Title Insurance Policies in Texas – as well as where to find copies of the policy and endorsement forms as well. In order for title professionals to be successful, it is imperative that they have a working knowledge of the Basic Manual.
