Dan Basile is the head of product for Ascensus’ retirement division. Dan’s team is responsible for the full lifecycle of Ascensus’ retirement product offering from idea conceptualization through delivery and, including, ongoing management of the product set.

Prior to joining Ascensus, Dan was a managing director and the head of product management for BlackRock’s U.S. & Canada defined contribution business. He led product efforts across both institutional and advisor-sold sales channels, while overseeing the team responsible for all aspects of product delivery, including pricing, implementation, and driving the technology agenda. Previously, Dan served in a number of senior positions across retirement, benefits outsourcing, and technology at Aon Hewitt and MetLife.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Gettysburg College and holds his Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses.

Greg joined Financial Finesse 14 years ago. Greg works extensively with the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and is the Vice Chair of Employee Benefit Research Institute’s (EBRI) Financial Wellbeing Research Center. He also recently co-authored a series of briefs with the SOA’s Aging & Retirement Strategic Research Program. He earned his BS in Statistics in 1994 and his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2004. When Greg is not busy helping shape the financial wellness industry, he enjoys fishing, vacationing with his family, and serving in Christian ministry.
