    Amy Lins
    Senior Director of Enterprise Learning at Money Management Institute (MMI)
    Amy Lins is Senior Director of Enterprise Learning at MMI, the largest provider of nonprofit financial counseling and education in the United States. Lins holds a Bachelor’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a math and computer science teaching concentration and a Master’s in Business Administration with a finance concentration. She has taught secondary math and computer science, worked in information technology at a Fortune 500 company, and for the last 19 years has served MMI in several capacities.

    Lins has a passion for financial wellness and education, which began with her career as a math teacher. Currently, she leads MMI’s learning and development team, which includes instructional design, employee training, and consumer financial wellness education. Lins has been instrumental in the strategic shift of MMI’s national education platform, including the development of consumer financial health curriculum for many of MMI’s partners and online learning modules for MMI’s proprietary Personalized Learning Platform (PLP). She and her team provide in-person and online education to thousands of consumers each year.

    April Bettencourt joined VSP Vision Care as Benefits & Payroll Manager in January 2001. In August 2008, VSP acquired Marchon Eyewear, creating VSP Global and expanding April’s responsibilities to include both domestic and international employees. April is currently responsible for all benefits and payroll administration, including wellness, worker’s compensation, and disability management, for VSP Global’s 3,000 employees worldwide.
    April’s 26-year career in Human Resources, with an emphasis on Benefits Administration, began in the savings and loan industry, where she participated in various mergers and acquisitions in matters concerning plan funding, restructuring, withdrawal liability and plan termination.
