The Development of a Hydrogen Industry in Australia

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
The Joint Chemical Engineering Committee (JCEC) QLD welcomes you to this panel session on the hydrogen industry in Australia.

Recent developments for hydrogen technologies and the necessity to transition to low-emission energy sources has sparked the development of a hydrogen industry in Australia. Although hydrogen has been utilised in industrial applications for a number of years, there are multiple engineering design aspects that need to be considered during the process of utilising hydrogen as a source of clean renewable energy.

The creation of any new industry requires the assembly of a team talented professionals, construction of key infrastructure, development of novel technologies/equipment as well as government policies, regulations and design standards. The QLD Joint Chemical Engineering committee invites you to an evening of technical and commercial discussions to shed some light on the hurdles and challenges of this emerging and promising industry.

In this session you will gain key learnings from industry experts about:

- Hydrogen generation technologies and their proposed applications
- Hydrogen Commercial and Technology Readiness level
- Design of Hydrogen Systems (specialised equipment)

Venue: QUT Gardens Point, S block level 12 (OJW- Owen J Wordsworth Room) and available as a webinar.
