    Professor Peter Klinken AC
    Chief Scientist of Western Australia
    Professor Klinken is a leading Western Australian medical research scientist, highly regarded for his work in advancing the understanding of genes involved in leukemia, cancer and anaemia. After obtaining his PhD from the University of Western Australia, he undertook research at the US National Institutes of Health in Washington and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne.

    His previous roles have included Professor in Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Western Australia; Director of Research at the Royal Perth Hospital; and the Director of the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research (previously the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research). Under his stewardship, the Harry Perkins Institute attracted world-class researchers to the State and made numerous acclaimed medical discoveries. He also spear-headed the development of two new state-of-the-art medical research facilities at the QEII Medical Centre and Fiona Stanley Hospital.

    Professor Klinken has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role of Chief Scientist of Western Australia, providing independent expert advice to the State Government. His has supported the Government in growing the State’s science industries to achieve future prosperity for Western Australians, as well as assisting with changes to legislation.

    Temiloluwa Adeniyi
    Flow assurance engineer, Intecsea
    Temiloluwa is flow assurance engineer with over 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry (1.5 years industry and 4 years doctorate degree from the University of Western Australia). As part of her role in Intecsea, Temiloluwa still works on projects requiring her technical safety knowledge.

    Prior to her flow assurance career, she worked as technical safety engineer at Lloyd’s Register for five years; where she carried out various quantitative risk assessments, developed safety cases and conducted consequence modelling for various projects across the oil & gas, mining and chemical industry.

    Temiloluwa has a bachelor (hons) in chemical engineering from Curtin university in 2011 and masters in oil & gas engineering from the University of Western Australia in 2016.

    Stephanie Mather
    Conduct of Operations Advisor, Chevron Australia
    Stephanie (she/her) is the Conduct of Operations Advisor for Chevron Australia. Her professional experience includes commissioning and start-up of the Gorgon and Jansz-Io fields, Inlet facilities and MEG units, Production Support Process Engineer for Gorgon LNG and early concept brownfield modification to LNG inlet and refrigeration facilities. Stephanie graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2012 with a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (Chemical and Process Engineering). Stephanie is an active member of the Chevron digital community, completing her Masters in Information and Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley in 2020 and advising the business on how to transform the operational access to information.

    Stephanie is dedicated to creating a future workplace that is inclusive to people of a diverse background, as a committee member for both the Women and Pride Networks within Chevron Australia. She contributes insight and expertise to help shape the University of Western Australia’s Chemical Engineering course through the Industry Advisory Panel.

    Liam Tobin
    Chief Executive Officer, Envisage Business Group
    Liam has worked in operations, maintenance, engineering and project leadership roles in energy, oil refining, resources, manufacturing, and technology development in Australia, Europe and North America. Over the past few decades, he has been General Manager – Operations at Seqwater, Chief Operating Officer at QLD Energy Resources and Refinery Manager at Caltex Lytton Refinery in Brisbane.

    As Associate Dean – Engineering at Central QLD University he led the research, development and teaching of maintenance management, process engineering, project and environmental management programmes. This work was recognised with the inaugural Australian Business and Higher Education Roundtable Award for Collaboration between Industry and Academia.

    In more recent years, he has been advising energy, resources, utility and manufacturing companies looking to transform their business, asset management, operations excellence and leadership performance.

    Dr John Warner
    Managing Director of JordProxa
    John Warner is Managing Director of JordProxa. He has helped steer JordProxa's growth from start-up in 2018 to becoming a major supplier of crystallisers to the battery chemical market. 

    Prior to the formation of JordProxa he has designed and sold process plant and equipment, much of it in modular form, to leading global companies. Many of these sales introduced new products into JordProxa's portfolio. He has worked extensively on clean air and clean water projects in both the research and corporate sectors in Australia, USA, Korea, India and Chile. These projects have included the application of evaporation and crystallisation technology to achieve zero liquid discharge solutions.

    Before moving to Perth, Dr Warner lived and worked for JordProxa in Houston USA for two years and Dubai UAE for nearly three years.

    Earlier in his career he led a research team at CSIRO that was a recipient of the Chairman's Award in 1998. He holds a B Chem Eng (1st class) and PhD from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

    Peter Bennett
    CEO and MD at Clough
    Peter Bennett was appointed as CEO of Clough on 1 February 2016, bringing over 25 years of international experience in the energy and infrastructure contracting service sector. His experience spans contracting business process, operational, and corporate leadership.

    Peter commenced his career as a graduate mechanical engineer with CB&I in Australia. During his 26-year tenure, Peter progressed through a diverse range of roles including engineering, project management, business development, operations management, corporate function management and general management. Prior to joining Clough, Peter was President, Oil & Gas International for CB&I, based in The Hague.

    Peter is passionate about diversity and inclusion and is an active member of CEO for Gender Equity.
