Many Regional and Rural Health Services are still dealing with the impact of the summer bushfires, ongoing drought, and now COVID-19.

However, due to their remote locations, Regional and Rural Health Services are in a unique position with many great support systems already in place, that everyone can learn from.

Next week, HFMA will be hosting a Q&A discussion featuring Peter Robertson, General Manager Customer Development at Maxxia, and Ragul Karun (Ragulan Karunanantham), Chief Financial Officer, Swan Hill District Health (SHDH).

Ragul has been in Swan Hill for 8 years, and has many experiences to share. Swan Hill is a remote Victorian town, 2 hours from any other regional towns and 4 hours from Bendigo.

Peter and Ragul will be discussing key challenge areas such as:

- New work arrangements
- Patient and Community expectations
- What's different for the Finance Department

Register now to gain insight into how our Regional and Rural members are coping in these challenging times.
