About This Webinar

Based on the work of Chip and Dan Heath, authors of Teaching That Sticks, this session will demonstrate how observational feedback can “find the core” to develop a productive coaching relationship. We will share our protocols and system for providing feedback that integrates AutoCrat and the Google Suite. Participants will walk away with the skills to design and customize feedback tools to meet their needs at any level.

I have several tech related videos for stat and TI-NSpire at www.youtube.com/mathteacher24. Feel free to ask me questions about National Board Certification (renewed in 2015). I also enjoy singing, reading and staying fit using workouts from Beachbody (P90X3/TurboFire/21DFX).

Consultant
I am a consultant at one of twenty Texas education service centers in San Antonio, right in the heart of Texas. I have the pleasure of working with students, teachers, and instructional leaders across the 19 counties we serve. I have a passion for building teacher capacity in curriculum implementation, lesson design, and innovative teaching practices. I am very involved in mathematics education, currently serving as as the Texas representative for NCTM, and work with K-12 math teachers to deepen their own mathematical understanding and consider the implications for instruction. I believe our students have creative perspectives as to what mathematics truly is, and that we help nurture their exploration of their world through the lens of mathematics.

We are math teachers who share what we've learned, because we don't want our classes to drain the energy from students. Professional development among friends, not just colleagues. Fun! Immediately useful! Interesting!
