As a cancer survivor and a member of the disabled community, his experiences as a below-the-knee amputee underscore his unwavering dedication to uplifting marginalized voices. Serving as the Community Outreach & Media Director for the Long Beach Collective Association (LBCA), he spearheads efforts to advocate for all licensed and legal cannabis operators in the city of Long Beach, CA.

    Following his passion for sustainability and education in the cannabis industry, Mr. Contreras also serves as Vice-President & Co-Founder of Remedium Cannabis, a pioneering 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Through innovative initiatives such as recycling and repurposing recyclable waste, educational sustainability plans, and counseling services for legal cannabis businesses, Remedium Cannabis is committed to building a sustainable industry and nurturing an informed community.
