Learn more about the Ready, Set, Go! (RSG) Program’s Red Flag Warning resource and how your organization can use it to prompt your community’s situational awareness during high fire danger conditions. Fire Chiefs Mark Novak (Vail Fire Department) and Craig Daugherty (San Juan County Fire Department) will address smart practices you can implement ahead of and during Red Flag Warnings to help your community address its wildland fire threat.

Additionally, RSG staff will provide an overview the Red Flag Warning resource, a customizable tool used to provide safety tips and actions residents should take during a warning. RSG resources are available at no charge to program members and can be found at wildlandfireRSG.org.

Participants will learn:

• Insight on how to integrate smart practices during Red Flag Warnings to better prepare your community against the threat of wildland fire.
• More about the RSG Red Flag Resource and how it can be a tool for your community.
