The IAFC, in partnership with the U.S. Fire Administration's (USFA) National Fire Data Center, will be presenting a webinar at 1 PM ET on July 9, 2020, to review the special study to assist fire departments in recording responses to the COVID-19 pandemic consistently.

Marion Long from USFA will discuss the importance of consistent data collection to help you locally and feed into the national database.

Kathy Clay, Battalion Chief/Fire Marshal, Jackson Hole Fire/EMS (Wyoming), will discuss the importance of consistent data recording locally, and how they paint an accurate picture of department responses.

Melvin Byrne, subject matter expert at IAFC, will discuss other NFIRS modules and how they will help volunteer/combination departments keep consistent records of the essential services provided to their communities.
