About
The second day of our 2-day forum, held on the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, will begin with our 3rd session, a series of presentations concentrating on human rights abuses throughout China since 1949 until today. Over its 76 years of being in power, the CCP has targeted different groups and used different methods to violate basic human rights. During the cultural revolution academics and educated people were persecuted through public shaming and deportation to do forced labor camps in remote areas. The spiritual group Falun Gong faced a different format as it is being persecuted through brainwashing, torture, and forced organ harvesting as the final solution to silence them as they are killed for their organs. We address the issue from various perspectives, including from the perspective of non-governmental organizations, journalists, politicians, doctors and lawyers.
