About
As world leaders prepare to attend the G-7 summit in Canada, 15-17 June, 2025, Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) will host a virtual roundtable discussion to mark the 1st anniversary of the international G7+7 Petition to stop organ harvesting perpetrated by the Chinese State against innocent people imprisoned for their faith or ethnicity.

This worldwide G7+7 Petition calls for the G-7 governments, plus Argentina, Australia, India, Israel, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan, to “issue a joint declaration condemning the PRC’s practice of forced organ harvesting, calling for its immediate end, and to implement an intergovernmental action plan.”

The petition was launched in June 2024 with the support of more than 20 civil society organizations.

Evidence accumulated over the past 19 years has established that forced organ harvesting in China exists and is of concern to the international community, yet governments have failed to adequately respond to this crime. Active leadership is long overdue, while the courage required to speak up against this atrocity is a small step on the path towards seeking a more just world.

Highly experienced speakers, specialized and passionate about human rights, will discuss in depth the horrors of forced organ harvesting, the consequences of this practice for western democratic countries and how all people can participate in breaking the silence within the international and medical community by simply talking about these crimes with friends and family and by signing the petition.

With the support of people around the world, G7+7 leaders should be inspired and encouraged to call out the Chinese state and stop forced organ harvesting forever.

William Huang
Witness and Human Rights Defender
William Huang is a Falun Gong (Falun Dafa) practitioner and was a Ph.D. candidate at China's prestigious Tsinghua University. Simply because of his spiritual belief, his Ph.D. study was interrupted and he was imprisoned for a total of 5 years. During his imprisonment, he was subjected to multiple forms of torture and abuse, including long hours of slave labor, sleep deprivation, forced brainwashing, and high-voltage electric baton shocks. He was forcibly blood-tested during his imprisonment, not for the benefit of his health (and receiving no subsequent medical care), but as part of widespread blood testing campaigns of imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners targeted for forced organ harvesting. Mr. Huang was fortunate enough to escape China and come to the USA in 2008 where he is now a senior engineer living in Pennsylvania.
