Akasha Indream (The global landscape)
Engagement Director at IoMob.net, Co-founder of BlockchainCities.io, Community Ambassador for Allrights.com, Advisory Board of Wizebit.com and Block.Loan. Akasha also publish MissBlockchain.tech and manage Telegram's largest exclusive community of women in blockchain, WIBI.io. She is also involved in the establishment of women's business networking platform Femergy.com.
Karen Cohen (Building local communities)
Karen has completed a Science Degree at Monash University and Post Graduate Diploma in HR and a Training Certificate. She has over 20 years experience in HR in professional services environment and Consulting environments including Accenture, McKinsey, IT and Financial Services. Karen is the General Manager of the Blockchain Centre Melbourne, managing the Blockchain Centre Expansion, Coworking, Incubation, Education, Consulting and Community Events.
Panel: Alastair Berg
Alastair is a PhD student at RMIT University where he is examining a public choice theory of identity and decentralised identity governance using blockchain (distributed ledger) technology. He also works at the RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub. Alastair has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, as well as two master’s degrees from the University of Melbourne. He has worked in economic research at the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA), in financial services at Ernst & Young (EY), and has also taught high school Economics.
