Rosa Thomson (Keynote)
Consultant and Project Manager at ConsenSys, a global blockchain venture studio working on building solutions to power the new economic, social, and political operating systems of the planet. Director of Women in Blockchain Melbourne and Blockchain for Social Impact Melbourne. For the past several years, Rosa has worked in the tech startup industry in Australia, San Francisco and Las Vegas, where she founded Girls in Tech LV and was a speaker at SXSW V2. She is passionate about new economic models, decentralised governance and future tech. Her current project is about disrupting the product certifications industry using transparent supply chain data to encourage ethical and sustainable practices and empower impact investors with reliable metrics.
Jamie Skella
Technologist and futurist Jamie Skella has spent 20 years in the design, building and advising of businesses across blockchain, IoT, and even future food. Formerly Board of Directors at MiVote, Jamie co-founded oHorizon State, winner of the World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer award - joining the likes of Google, Airbnb, and Spotify - and was also voted 7 of 100 on a list of world changing companies by The Australian.
Chris Zhong
Chris Zhong, Accenture Digital Industry X.0 Blockchain Lead, and president of Blockchain Philanthropy Foundation, a non-profit organisation focus on promoting Blockchain technology for humanitarian causes. Chris is passionate about leading edge of computing technology and is active in the global blockchain scene, especially for enterprise applications
Anouk Pinchetti
Anouk Pinchetti’s career has spanned three decades in the IT industries across three continents within the Government, Utilities, Corporate and Community sectors. Anouk has studied complementary and alternative currencies for twenty years and first heard about Bitcoin in 2010 and began leading workshops in the technology in 2017. Anouk is a Blockchain Technology Educator and Consultant with the Blockchain Centre in Melbourne, as well as an Educator and Business Strategy Consultant with Intraverse Blockchain Technologies.
Jon Quidim (Moderator)
Jon is committed to building the blockchain ecosystem in Australia and beyond. As Events and Incubation Manager for the Blockchain Centre Melbourne he helps to create a knowledge hub for startups working in blockchain technology. It fosters Australia’s largest community of blockchain technology entrepreneurs, experts, mentors and investors. Delivering the Block Engine Incubator, Jon has a unique perspective on what it really takes to be a blockchain startup. He is an amabassador for ixo, a blockchain platform for social impact projects.
