Senior Manager - Innovation & Legal Technology (Managing Associate)
Ellen is a Senior Manager in Addleshaw Goddard's Innovation and Legal Technology team. Ellen manages projects to develop and configure new processes and legal technology which transform the way legal services are delivered to clients. Ellen also works closely with General Counsel and their legal teams to help drive legal digital transformation. Ellen is a regular speaker at industry conferences about legal innovation and technology.
Ellen joined Addleshaw Goddard's Innovation and Legal Technology team in the Spring of 2018 and is a qualified solicitor with five years' experience of advising UK and international clients on private mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters.

Daniel is a Director with a focus on helping Law Firms and Legal Departments deliver operational excellence. He has an extensive track record of overseeing large structural change and has a deep understanding of transformation projects within a legal environment. He has legal, Project Management and Six Sigma qualifications and uses this raft of experience to act as a bridge and ensure that everyone’s understandings and expectations are fully aligned.​
Daniel spent 5 years as a structured finance lawyer at Clifford Chance followed by a post at the Ministry of Justice advising Ministers and drafting legislation. His first operational role was as Head of Knowledge Management at the Government Legal Department where he oversaw the merger of 15 different departments and helped realise the benefits of the new structure. Prior to joining Elevate, Daniel was a Senior Legal Project Manager at Allen & Overy where he mobilised lawyers, clients, external counsel and global advisors to deliver complex projects on time and on budget​.

Andrew is the General Counsel of Globacap, the FCA regulated capital markets placement and management platform. After qualifying and into the Capital Markets team at Clifford Chance, Andrew moved in-house with previous roles at The London Metal Exchange, Deliveroo and Eigen Technologies.

Robert Marcus is a commercial lawyer who provides pragmatic problem-solving advice from both an in-house and law firm perspective. He previously advised on a wide range of contentious maritime and insurance matters in major City law firms. With over 20 years’ experience working in IBM with senior teams supporting large complex technology projects, his in-house perspective helps him understand the pressures which clients in general and General Counsel of large companies in particular operate to provide relevant timely advice to their clients. Robert was one of the founding partners of Jurit LLP, a virtual and an explicitly values based law firm.

Catriona is Weightmans' Innovation Manager and is responsible for the development, delivery and management of the firm's innovation and technology projects, as well as broader innovation programme. She works closely with the Innovation Group, clients, suppliers and legal teams to ensure that Weightmans continues to evolve and offers real market-leading solutions.

Catriona is regularly interviewed for articles and research projects and frequently presents at legal/innovation conferences on topics related to innovation and future skills. She was shortlisted for 'rising star' at the Legal Week Innovation Awards 2019. Catriona’s team have been shortlisted finalists in 10 National Innovation awards since 2018, winning the Modern Law Awards 2019 for the 'best use of technology' as a result of a collaborative project with Kira Systems (AI software provider) and the Computer Science Department at the University of Liverpool. They were runner up at the British Legal Tech Awards 2020 for 'Technology Venture of the Year' for an RPA Email filing assistant (EFA).

Catriona sits on the Liverpool Enterprise Partnership Professional and Business Services Board and is a Director of UKLTA (The Legal Tech Association for the UK). She is also a member of UK Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellowship Panel College.
