    Jim Amorin CAE, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, CDEI began in the real estate valuation profession in 1988. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Development from the University of Texas at Austin. He has testified multiple times before the US Congress and presented to the United Nations on real estate valuation, and he has served as a resource in the national press for stories in the New York Times, Housing Wire, CNBC, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, and numerous other publications. He has developed and instructed educational offerings and provided lectures in 40 states and numerous countries/territories including Italy, Germany, Portugal, the People’s Republic of China, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Romania, Japan, Mexico, and Canada. A two-time National President of the Appraisal Institute as well as its CEO between 2017 and 2023. He also served on the national Board of Directors for The Residential Energy Services Network from 2017 through 2023.
