Daphne Haas-Kogan, MD, is Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital. She is the Willem and Corrie Hees Family Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School.
As Department Chair, her vision includes supporting each member of the Radiation Oncology Department in fostering close collaborative ties with diagnostic radiologists, medical and pediatric oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and basic science investigators to spearhead cutting edge science, translational investigations and clinical studies, all based on the depth and breadth of success that already permeates Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center (DFBWCC). Dr. Haas-Kogan is a member of the National Academy of Medicine.

Deputy Director, Chief of Radiation Oncology, Miami Cancer Institute
Minesh Mehta, MD, is deputy director and chief of radiation oncology at Miami Cancer Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. He is a widely renowned expert in radiation oncology, proton therapy and cancer research. He has designed and led numerous national and international clinical studies, receiving NIH and NCI grants and winning honors for his research in brain and central nervous system tumors. Dr. Mehta is Board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology and in neuro-oncology by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.

Steven Holan, MBA is the Assistant Vice President of Clinical Operations, Radiation Oncology at Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida. Steve’s current role is to oversee clinical operations and to execute the overall strategic goals of the Radiation Oncology Department. He also serves as the executive sponsor for employee engagement and the institute’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Executive Director for Radiation Oncology
Mr. Walsh is the Executive Director for Radiation Oncology at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center, as well as a Teaching Associate at Harvard Medical School. He has held progressive leadership roles DFBWCC over the last 20 years. Mr. Walsh oversaw and directed the growth of the Radiation Oncology Department from four machines to a world-class department with 15 machines and robust Laboratory Research, Physics and Translational Medicine Divisions. In 2007, DFBWCC emphasized expanding Radiation Oncology to the community. Under Mr. Walsh’s leadership, the Radiation Oncology Department developed three network satellites and, more recently, has expanded internationally by bringing radiation oncology services to Bermuda and China. Walsh earned his MBA at Suffolk University and received his BS at Babson College.

Parashar is an experienced health care executive with a demonstrated history of accomplishments in the medical device industry and public sector. His areas of expertise include health care delivery systems, payment and coverage policy, market access, medical devices, and clinical research.

From October 2016 through January 2019 Parashar led Boston Scientific’s Global Health Policy team, which focused on monitoring and influencing payment and health care delivery system policies and shaping Boston Scientific’s commercial strategies in the context of policy trends.
