PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This course will take a look at the state of service at the IRS over the last five years. We will discuss how to best communication with the IRS and strategies for the most effective ways to utilize IRS resources to represent your clients.

Understand the impact of the new Inflation Reduction Act on service issues
Understand the implications of political turmoil on service issues
Understand when to use Practitioner Priority Service
Understand how and when to use e-services
Understand when third-party tools may help

PRESENTER:
Knox Wimberly, EA is considered one of America's Tax Experts having taught practitioners all over the country. Knox’s areas of expertise include the taxation of clergy, cryptocurrency, foreign earned income, estates (especially on the 1041 fiduciary return), S corporations, and trusts. His practice also includes tax resolution and he is a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute.

In addition to his own practice, Knox most recently served as the Chief Tax Officer for Happy Tax (a national tax franchisor). He is also the Tax Director for cryptotaxacademy.com.

Knox is also a local pastor in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church..

Refund Policy
Refunds will be honored if written notification is received at the Administrative Office up to 5 days prior to the date of the course. A processing fee of $25 will be deducted from the refund. If the total registration fee was less than $25, no refund will be granted. Transferring the registration to another individual is allowed up to 5 days prior to the program date. Transfers or cancellations within 5 days of the course will not be accepted. “No Shows” forfeit their fees. Cancellation
VASEA reserves the right to cancel any program or course for circumstances that are not under direct control of VASEA. If a course or program is cancelled, registrants will be notified via email at the address listed on their registration form.
