Kennedy Bartley is the Legislative Director with United Working Families, an independent political organization that combines the experience, resources, and mass base of organized labor with the energy and innovation of the grassroots to recruit, train, and run candidates. She is an experienced researcher, organizer, and public policy analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the civic, political, and social organization industry. Kennedy brings her skills in government and legislative relations, political campaigns, writing legislation, and community outreach to various organizing projects, including as a campaign lead and steering committee member of the Defund CPD campaign in Chicago.
