My name is Officer J. A. Morales. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I am a high school graduate of Austin High School and a graduate from the University of Texas at El Paso. I have a bachelor’s degree in biological science. I have been a commissioned officer with the city of El Paso since January 2016. Once I graduated from the EPPD academy, my assignment was at the Central Regional Command Central as a patrol officer for 3 years. Thereafter, I decided to take on a new challenging task and I joined the EPPD Motorcycle Unit, I have been with the Motorcycle Unit for 2 years. Being on this unit, officers duties includes, but is limited to; enforce traffic laws, assist with motor vehicle crashes, and any city parade or EPPD funeral escorts.
My name is Officer H. Mendoza. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I am a high school graduate of Montwood High School and attended the University of Texas at El Paso for 2 years. I joined the United States Air Force in 2009 and separated in 2018. I have been a commissioned officer with the city of El Paso since November 2016. Once graduated from the EPPD academy I was assigned to the Westside Regional Command as a patrol officer for 1 and a half then transferred to the Pebble Hills Regional Command for a year. In April of 2019, I passed the Motor certification course and join the EPPD Motorcycle unit. I have been assigned to this unit for the past 2 years now. As a part of this unit, we are assigned to enforce traffic laws, assist with motor vehicle crashes, city parades, or EPPD funeral escorts.
