Collaborating with Teens for Peer-to-Peer Campaigns

About This Webinar

This session will provide you with insights on how the Texas Department of Transportation is collaborating with teens for peer-to-peer campaigns. Including Project Celebration and the Teen Click It or Ticket Campaign.

Project Celebration is a combination of education and lock-in events conducted by educators, parents and community partners to help keep students safe and alcohol-free throughout the school year and especially during school-related celebrations. The goal is to reduce the number of injuries and deaths caused by impaired driving. Annually, TxDOT awards mini-grants to help school officials, parents and community partners sponsor Project Celebration education activities and lock-in events.

The Teen Click It or Ticket Campaign is an annual public awareness campaign that is aimed at increasing teen seat belt us by reaching out to Texas teens through TV, radio, digital advertising, and social media.
