Krischa Winright Chief Information Officer for Priority Health and Vice President of Information Technology at Spectrum Health Krischa Winright is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s technology efforts. With more than 20 years of technology and health care experience, she has been instrumental in leading the development of initiatives to improve the consumer experience and keep Priority Health at the forefront of the industry. Examples of her work can be seen through the company’s launch of consumer-convenience programs such as its transparency program that publishes facility cost and quality information for nearly 300 procedures and a virtual visits system that enables individuals to see a doctor from their home.

Dr. Williams is the President and CEO of United Physicians, Inc., Michigan’s largest independent physician organization. Dr. Williams has served in this role with United Physicians for the past 4 years. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Dr. Williams also served as a United Physicians Board Member for five years. He has also served as Chairman of United Physicians' Physician Advocacy Cabinet (PAC) - a grass roots effort to promote doctor-to- doctor engagement, teamwork and quality improvement. Dr. Williams has also been instrumental in the development, adoption and use of Health Information Technology in the United Physicians network. In addition to his responsibilities with United Physicians, Dr. Williams is a practicing Internal Medicine and Pediatrics physician at LifeTime Medical Associates, a division of Prism Medical Group, in Rochester Hills, Michigan, a member of the Michigan Primary Care Consortium’s Board of Directors and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s Organized Systems Care Steering Committee. Dr. Williams received his undergraduate degree from Albion College in 1987 and his medical degree from Wayne State University in 1991. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University Medical Center and Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in 1995. Ewa M. Matuszewski is the Chief Executive Officer of Medical Network One, a Michigan based physicians’ organization which was established as a physician service provider in 1981 and now serves approximately 950 primary care and specialty care physicians in Michigan and Ohio. She has consulted with medical societies and state, local, national and international health care organizations, and has been a frequent speaker on the management of innovation and primary care based chronic disease programs. She is a Detroit-area health care veteran and champion of innovative primary care and chronic care initiatives, including the award-winning Community Care Travel Team, an interdisciplinary patient-empowerment program. Throughout her many experiences in leading physicians and their practice teams through change, Ms. Matuszewski has promoted a vision of patient-centered medicine and a culture of organizational excellence. Her areas of expertise are health policy analysis, physician workforce strategies, physician practice environment, primary care team leadership, and primary care practice management- governance interface. Ms. Matuszewski is a practice mentor with the American Academy of Family Physicians’ Practice Enhancement Forum, a guest lecturer in the Wayne State University School of Medicine Family Practice Residency Program, member of the Michigan Primary Care Consortium, member of the Improving Performance in Practice (IPIP) Steering Committee, and co-chair of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Physician Group Incentive Program (PGIP) Patient Centered Medical Home Committee. She is also a founding member of the Michigan Stanford Chronic Disease Self Management Program Master Trainers Organization, American Medical Group Association and the Michigan Primary Care Consortium. In 2007, Crain’s Detroit Business recognized Ms. Matuszewski as an “American Dreamer” in an award feature highlighting successful foreign-born Southeast Michigan business leaders who built successful careers in the United States. Jim VanderMey has served as VP of Technical Operations, CTO and now Chief Innovation Officer for OST. Jim has provided the technical leadership and product strategic planning for the organization since the very beginning. Jim is a technology visionary who sets the long and short-term direction for OST. He specializes in seeing the “big picture” of technology, industry trends and the business objectives supported by IT. As OST has gained an international reputation, Jim has taught and spoken at conferences in Europe, Japan, and throughout the US. Jim attended the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music as a pastoral ministries major, and went on to manage significant scale applications and infrastructures in the healthcare, manufacturing, and insurance industries. He has served as a consultant to many large organizations such as Herman Miller, Boeing, Priority Health, Magna-Donnelly Corporation, Hewlett Packard, Amway, Meijer, Komatsu, Mercedes, Navistar (International Truck), Flextronics, the US Navy and many hospital systems including Spectrum Health, Bronson Hospital, HealthEast. Jim has senior level skills in enterprise architecture (EA), capacity planning and performance analysis, SAN design and implementation, systems architecture and design, and the application of ERP to the manufacturing environment. He is a voracious learner and has held many technical certifications ranging from UNIX and Cisco administration through cloud architecture and design. More recently, Jim has directly led executive innovation projects using Design Science and Human Centered Design (HCD) to creatively develop technology and business solutions to some of the hardest problems of 21st century business. DevOps, Agile development and the intersection of EA, application development and managing infrastructure as an extension of the code set is part of his current work. Most recently, Jim has been heavily involved in OST’s healthcare initiatives where he has leveraged his decades of experience in healthcare along with enterprise applications and systems architecture to design high performance infrastructures for the Epic EHR application and the client systems such as VDI for the access tier. Jim has also been directly engaged with our analytics team on assisting our clients in the adoption of analytics to create substantial value and new revenue opportunities leveraging Big Data. In this space the intersection of architecture, data visualization and design can be used to develop important new actionable insights. Jim sits on the advisory board for the computer science/IS departments of Calvin College and Grand Valley State University Computer Science. He is an avid reader of all types of non-fiction and literature and most mornings can be found paddling a kayak, canoe or SUP before work. On the weekends, family and serving with his wife Ann at their church is a major focus. Lastly, we must confess that some of OST’s peculiar culture is a direct derivation of Jim’s unorthodox style.
