WEBINAR ENDED
Resilience and Self-care when Lone Working
Guest Speaker: Alexis Powell-Howard MA., Fortis Therapy & Training Director.

We are social beings and so for some, working alone can feel isolating and trigger difficulties with mental health, managing emotions and self-talk. This can happen due to missing loved ones, loneliness and isolation with no one, or very few people, to talk to about what really matters, or to even just have banter with. Returning to partners, family and children having had a period of time working alone and staying away from home can also be a tricky transition for everyone concerned as relationships and expectations can be affected.

When we have a mind that’s full, with possible overthinking, low mood or anxiety, knowing how to manage with strategies and self-care can make all the difference. In this talk Alexis will discuss these key topics, sharing understanding, strategies and practical tips you can use to help yourself and others.
