Discover the Lincoln Student Managed Investment Fund

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
As a University of Lincoln student, you will have the opportunity to apply to join the Lincoln Student Managed Investment Fund (LSMIF).

The Lincoln Student Managed Investment Fund was founded in 2018, with the aim of providing students with the opportunity to gain practical and real-world experience within the finance industry alongside their studies. The fund operates in a similar way to other professionally run investment funds with students appointed to a range of positions.

Join our live webinar on Tuesday 28 February at 1pm to find out more about the Lincoln Student Managed Investment Fund and how you can get involved.

This webinar will be hosted by Dr Hao Quach, Associate Professor within the Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics, and Matteo Di Rossi, Chief Executive Officer of the Student Managed Investment Fund.

Matteo is currently studying MSc Banking and Finance within the Lincoln International Business School. During the webinar he will be discussing his own experience of being part of the Lincoln Student Managed Investment Fund, including some of the key projects he has been involved in.

Dr Hao and Matteo will explain how the fund uses money raised from donors to invest in shares listed on the London Stock Exchange, with investments spanning a number of industries and sectors. Our hosts will also discuss the funds’ current sponsorship and advisory support from some of the UK’s leading wealth management companies.

The webinar will conclude with a live question and answer session.
