Roasting Styles Exploration

About This Webinar

Thank you to Pacific Barista Series for supporting the #ExpoSeason workshops!

***
The degree and style of a roast has a significant impact on the flavor of coffee. In this exploratory workshop, students will learn how to evaluate coffee over a range from light to dark roasts and decide on an approach to roasting that considers the coffee, the customer, and the business.

With this workshop, you will be sent coffee from Neal Wilson, himself (US Mailing addresses only). To taste the coffees you will need to have some way of grinding the roasted coffee and preparing that in a vessel and brew method of your choosing.

Along with that, you will receive unroasted coffee to try your hand at developing your own roasting style with roasting machines and methods that are available to you.
