Neuroplasticity has held clinical promise for decades. It affects millions. In recent years the hyperbole around neuroscience research has been termed ‘neuromania’ as it has expanded its embrace such that we are now seeing ‘neuromarketing’ and ‘neurotheology’ offerings. This webinar briefly reviews some of the long history of neuroscience futurology versus reality to give perspective to current trends. Topics will include psychometrics and case materials. The interactive discussion portion of the webinar is intended to cover possible future research directions and clinical applications.
