Social and environmental disasters in Latin American and Caribbean countries have increased and consequently contributed to the forced displacement of affected people to other Latin American countries, among which Argentina, Brazil and Chile stand out. On the other hand, these countries had to gradually develop public policies to include forced displaced persons and reduce the vulnerabilities of these groups of people in the receiving countries. This roundtable proposes to verify the general aspects of public policies adopted by some Latin American countries and - specifically by Brazil - aimed at the vulnerabilities of those displaced by socio-environmental disasters, based on a systematic literature review (RSL).
