Transcendent Love

SikhRI connects people with the teachings of Sikhi and strengthens the bonds of the Sikh community around the world by offering courses and seminars in a variety of mediums.

Jasleen Kaur is a double UVA grad in Religious Studies, focusing on South Asian Religions through the lens of literature and poetry. She is currently working as a Researcher with SikhRI. She is passionate about projects that create comfortable spaces for community members of all ages and backgrounds to engage in dialogue and learn from one another. She also loves singing in her free time, whether on stage with her friends or alone in her kitchen. She hopes to eventually go back to school to pursue a Ph.D. in either religious ethnography or history, and fulfill her dream of teaching and learning from others.

Pritpal Singh is a poet, podcaster, and inclusion advocate as well as a dad to two daughters. He is based in London, UK, and is a volunteer for Sarbat LGBT+ Sikhs and Diversity Role Models as well as being a passionate traveller and linguist. In November 2020, Pritpal Singh was appointed as the Deputy Chair of the UK Defence Sikh Network. In his work with Sarbat, Pritpal focuses on the intersection of Sikh faith identity with sexual orientation and gender identities, as well as increasing allyship across the wider Sikh community.
