Andres JJ Van Pletzen

Andries is an experienced leader who has delivered complex supply chain programs worldwide and in numerous industries.
Since 2010 he has focused exclusively on the Natural Resource Sector. He has demonstrated ability to engage with multicultural clients that utilize various mining methods across business functions. Project focus has included: supply chain, organizational redesign, inventory management, productivity improvement, cost reduction and asset optimization.
Some of his key projects include a Sub Saharan African diamond mine.
Andries led a team of 32 consultants to assist in restructuring their entire organization. The far-reaching and long-term engagement spanned over four open pit locations, head office, supply chain, logistics and support services.
His key clients have included Rio Tinto (Oyu Tolgoi), Debwsana, Pampa Norte, Endeavour Mining, Impala Platinum, Village Main Reef, Rand Gold, United Manganese of Kalahari, SAMANCOR.
Angus Maclean
EVP Building Materials & Construction EMEAA
Angus has considerable expertise in leading large scale organizational transformation, improvement and cultural change programmes. Client-site based, he ensures projects deliver to agreed ambitious targets. He worked for over 270 client organizations in more than 40 countries.
Currently, he heads the Building Materials sector across EMEA and is responsible for all aspects of client delivery. A strong communicator, he possesses great leadership and team building skills. He operates as a trusted partner to existing clients, providing strategic and operational advice to wide range of clients.
He has worked on a multitude projects with highly skilled knowledge workers to improve operational efficiency using Lean, Six-Sigma & Agile Scrum management techniques.
