Your most meaningful assets often aren’t the ones listed on a beneficiary form. They’re the items that tell your story — the art you’ve collected, the jewelry you’ve loved, the wine or sports card collection you curated, even the cherished heirlooms tucked into your china cabinet. And yes, even your pets. Yet these “passion assets” are frequently the most overlooked in estate and transition planning.
Join us for an intimate, educational workshop, where a seasoned financial planner and a professional estate appraiser share practical strategies for thoughtfully transferring treasured possessions. Learn how to:
· Create a clear transition plan for collectibles, antiques, and heirlooms
· Decide when to gift, sell, donate, or bequeath special items
· Reduce family conflict and confusion around sentimental assets
· Align your legacy wishes with the true value — financial and emotional — of your belongings
· Plan for unique assets, including your pets
We’ll discuss real-world examples and proven approaches to divesting and distributing beloved objects in a way that feels intentional, tax-aware, and personally meaningful.
Following the presentation, enjoy a curated wine tasting experience — the perfect setting to continue the conversation in a relaxed, social atmosphere with fellow collectors and legacy-minded families.
Your wealth tells one story. Your treasured possessions tell another. This workshop helps you honor both.
