Senior EDM Applications Engineer

Jordan started with Makino in 2015. His focus is providing support for EDM drilling in the Aero Engine industry. He also develops CAM processes and post processors for EDM.
Masaaki Miyazaki

Deputy Executive Manager, Research & Development, Makino Milling

Masaaki Miyazaki started 1995 as R&D Engineer.
2002, he joined MAG3 development project dedicated to aerospace.
After several large machine for aerospace development (T4, A4-A20),
He became Deputy Executive Manager of R&D in October 2020.

Munehito Miyashita

R&D New products development, General MG

Munehito Miyashita started 1993 as R&D Engineer.
He has been mainly engaged in the development for the middle size horizontal machining centre（a/A-series with HSK-A100 spindle and MAG1).
He became General Manager of R&D in September 2014.
Andrea Biscardi

Application Engineer Business Unit Aerospace

Andrea Biscardi is Makino Europe’s structural component expert. He has 15 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
He supports European customers with projects on 5 axis structural parts in titanium and aluminium.
Michael Barz

Makino Europe - General Manager Business Unit Aerospace

Michael Barz started first of January 2000 as consultant and sales for northern Europe.
After supporting several regions in Europe he became GM for northern Europe before he joined the Business Unit Aerospace in 2015.
Manfred Hader

Senior Partner Roland Berger GmbH

Manfred Hader heads Roland Berger’s Global Aerospace & Defense Practice. He focuses on consulting large international companies and institutions in the fields of aerospace & defense, engineered products and utilities on issues of strategy development, strategic transformation and operational performance improvement.
Ugur Küpper

M.Sc. RWTH , Group Leader Fundamentals of EDM/ECM Processes

Ugur Küpper studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University. Since 2011, he worked as a student assistant at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University.

After his Master´s degree in 2017, he started as a research assistant in the Chair of Manufacturing Technology - Department of EDM/ECM Processes and took over the group leader position in 2020.

He researches in the field of EDM, especially the digitalization of the wire EDM process.
Matthias Wilke

Product Manager

Matthias Wilke brings decades of experience on the die and mould market. His profound knowledge on the EDM processes makes him a reference on the market. He is currently product manager and supports sales all over Europe with his extensive knowledge

Jochen Steinmeyer

Production leader and quality manager - Sumitomo Electric Hartmetall GmbH

After his time as a production engineer at a transmission manufacturer, Jochen Steinmeyer joined Co. Sumitomo as production leader and quality manager.

Due to his experience in production and cutting tool business, he changed internally to the development department as a application engineer and trainer.

Currently Mr. Steinmeyer is working at the European Design & Engineering Center from Sumitomo as a project leader and is responsible for the cutting tests, product evaluations, customer support and seminars.
Sam Chehab

Senior VP, Sales & Business Development – ICAM Technologies Corporation

Sam started at ICAM in 1990 with a task to develop international sales. After developing a worldwide Dealer network for ICAM products and services, Sam took many roles to develop European markets and later on North American territories and soon after became VP of the Sales department. He handles today large corporate accounts, Machine Tool Builders and CAD/CAM/PLM relationships and oversees the sales activities at ICAM
Daniel Wang

Manufacturing Application Specialist – ICAM Technologies Corporation

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, Daniel started as a manufacturing application specialist in 2019. His role is to develop post processor and machine simulation to the customers. Subsequently, he also serves as a technical support for both developers and users.
Viktor Mirkovic

EMEA Sales Engineer Automated Quality Control

Viktor Mirkovic started as an application engineer at Creaform, assisting customers with installation, demo processes, programming automated Solutions. He was also part of the qualification process of automated solutions for the customer and subsequently also provided support.

In the meantime, he is responsible for successful cooperation with integrators as a sales engineer. He supervise the complete pre-sales process to ensure that the customer receives the perfect technical solution. He is also representing Creaform during Events for Automated Quality Control in Europe.
Trent Woodcock

Support Engineer

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Trent started at Third Wave Systems on the applications engineering team in 2017. Initially supporting distributors of TWS software, Trent now trains global users and provides application support across the aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronic device industries.
Holger Herdegen

Technical Sales Engineer

Holger Herdegen studied mechanical engineering and started in 2011 working as a project engineer defining cutting tools and processes in terms of rotary and structural parts for the aerospace industry. In 2020 he joined Greenleaf Europe B.V. as a Technical Sales Engineer taking care of customers in Germany with regards to sales and technical topics.
Stewart Seedhouse

Applications Manager, Makino - NCMT Grinding Group at NCMT Ltd

Stewart started his working life as an apprentice for a machine tool builder and joined at NCMT in 2005 as an Applications engineer working on Makino 5 axis Milling machines.

In 2007 he became part of the NCMT grinding team to support the expanding business of the Viper Grinding technology and has work developing new processes and delivering engineering solutions to customer throughout Europe and the rest of the world. In 2019

Stewart took on the roll as Grinding Application Manager and continues to support the grinding business today.

Vasu stationed in Japan having 23 years of work experience in Makino Group, comprehensive knowledge in Application Technology,

Srinivasan Raghavan

Makino Asia Pte Ltd. Additive Manufacturing - Principal engineer

Dr. Raghavan has worked as a materials scientist for the last 15 years. He finished the PhD from Purdue University, USA in 2005. He has been working in Additive manufacturing for last 7 years in the field of materials evaluation, heat treatment, property evaluation for different metal alloys parts and powders . He joined Makino in July 2020 after having worked with GE Global Research , A*Star .
Urko J. Ugalde

Makino Europe - Team leader Marketing and Product Planning

Urko J. Ugalde started in Makino Europe as application engineer, supporting the aerospace customers through Europe. In 2015 he changed to aerospace product management and in 2019 he took over the leading position for marketing and product planning.

Frantisek Hacik brings years of experience with customers all over Europe, supporting their most innovative projects, their first parts productions and the most challenging components. Since 2018 he takes care of the engine part of the aerospace market.
