Mandatory compliance for “constant monitoring” of IoT deployments in Europe will soon be in effect starting mid-2026 and are sure to be harmonized in the Asia and North America. This means that IoT consumer-device sellers in Europe will be forced to provide documentation that original firmware is safe and that subsequent updates are as well.
